Location:

We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Minnesota, London, and New Delhi. We welcome you to work in any of our offices, but you also have the opportunity to work from home.

About the role:

The Consumer Marketing Team at TMB is looking for a Sr. Associate, Affiliate Marketing.

This position will reporting to an Affiliate Commerce Manager, and participate in Affiliate partner communications, onboarding advertiser partners, and lead relevant reporting metrics to determine success. The Sr. Associate will work together with broader Consumer Marketing disciplines such as Performance Media and Site Optimization, and will be responsible for all Affiliate operational needs to set up, maintain, and deliver upon Affiliate objectives for TMB.

You have an understanding of Affiliate Marketing and a knack for digital. Data analysis excites you to inform team decisions, and to partake in profound business growth is of tremendous interest. You exude leadership qualities and have a “pick up the phone” mentality in your everyday. You’re professional and personable, and come to the table with proposed solutions to problems instead of just problems. You excel in a fast-paced environment and “level-up” when granted the opportunity to present to senior executives.

Your day-day:

  • Assist with managing partner communications and onboarding new advertiser partners for direct partnerships
  • Field inbound leads of potential direct advertiser partners and determine quality and fit for brand
  • Own affiliate performance reporting, pulling monthly and quarterly data, analyzing trends and identifying risks and areas of opportunity
  • Track affiliate performance and pulling monthly and quarterly reporting in order to analyze current performance and identify potential risks or areas of growth
  • Participate in weekly calls to identify new partnership opportunities with agencies and retailers
  • Identify and communicate strategic retail partnership opportunities that align with content categories and revenue growth goals to the editorial team
  • Manage link creation for the editorial team to ensure tracking and reporting is set up correctly
  • Communicate retailer opportunities to editorial team that align with the editorial focuses and growing strategic partnerships
  • Assist with special affiliate commerce long-term projects

You have:

  • The right candidate must be a self-motivated multitasker with strong analytical skills and knowledgeable of the ecommerce and digital media landscape
  • Minimum 1-2 years of digital marketing experience, preferable in affiliate
  • Experience with affiliate networks and SaaS affiliate platforms and/or affiliate marketing campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Looker, and any BI tool
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience within the affiliate industry (publisher or network experience a plus)
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and skills
  • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with the team
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

This Sr. Associate position fills a tremendous task void on a lean (current) team of two. Reporting into the VP of Growth, the Affiliate Marketing team will have a keen microscope on it to deliver on anticipated growth in the months to come. The Affiliate team is a tight-knit group that empowers its surrounding team players. In collaboration with major Performance Marketing and Site Optimization team members (as well as Product and Sales), the Affiliate team will celebrate major wins as it plays a vital role in keeping TMB brands profitable in an evolving marketplace.
