BB Agency was founded in 2012 on Island Krk, Croatia. Through the years, what started as a side-gig turned into a fully remote digital agency with more than twenty members and collaborators working together from all over the world to provide a valuable global perspective on our work.

Job description

We are currently growing our Project Management team with down-to-earth experts that strive to shape the products of tomorrow, as well as to keep growing their skills and expertise.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of designers and developers, who are all passionate about creating functional and creative solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to ensure visibility for all stakeholders through clear and timely communication, documentation and reporting on progress while making sure there is minimum delays in decision making process.

- Manage digital projects: Your primary role will be to manage multiple complex projects through various research, design, and development phases. The main goal is to prepare, coordinate and monitor projects during their life cycles to ensure flawless execution and that all projects are delivered – on time, within the scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate project team members: You will plan and coordinate the work of project members and ensure clear communication between design, development and stakeholders (both internal and external) throughout each project stage. You will divide projects into doable actions and tasks, and assign them to internal teams.
- Track progress:  You will develop a detailed project plan to track project progress (controlling and monitoring costs, deadlines, and content). You will monitor activities on the projects, undertake preventive and corrective actions if necessary, and analyze risks and opportunities. You will have a complete overview of all documentation related to projects.
- Communicate with clients: You will liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives, ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the projects evolve. You will establish and maintain relationships with clients/ third parties, all with the goal of providing the best possible solution and experience for all the clients
- Improve internal processes: As a Senior Project Manager you will have an opportunity to shape and influence the way we work by actively participating in optimizations of our internal processes. We know that every project is specific therefore project methodology which we use is adapted for clients/projects specific needs and very often it is a combination of Scrum and Kanban.
- Grow as a Mentor: We will give you also the opportunity to grow as a mentor by providing access to training programs and the chance to mentor the rest of the project management team.

Preferred experience

We are searching for a person that aligns with our core values, has empathy to offer support to the client, yet is assertive enough to adequately communicate any potential issues and keep the project life cycle in check. Ideally, you have 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in an agency setting.

- Expert in digital project management: You are an expert in understanding positive standards and trends regarding project management methodologies and tools. You have a good understanding of standard digital agency workflow, as well as design and development processes.
- Accountable: You have a strong sense of commitment, accountability, and ownership. You are independent and will solve problems by taking matters into your own hands if needed. You are a doer that understands the bigger picture, but stays mindful of the steps needed to achieve it.
- Systemic and organized: You are organized and have a sense of priorities and attention to detail. You are excellent at dividing projects and complex tasks into smaller doable actions. You are analytical and have problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion.
- Communicative: You are a responsive, sympathetic, and honest communicator. At the same time, you don’t shy away from confronting issues and solving them in a constructive manner, and you can stay relaxed in confrontational situations. You are team-oriented and can lead team meetings and requirements.
- Human-centric: You put effort into understanding user and client needs. You’re a conceptual thinker who can translate customer needs and behaviors into project requirements.
- Remote-native: You can quickly adapt to a remote environment, and you can efficiently use tools like Asana, Notion, Slack, Zoom, etc.
- Languages: You are very fluent in English and able to engage with all international team members and clients. The majority of our clients are from the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Australia, etc.

- Salary – We haven’t decided on the salary range due to this being a remote position. We offer a competitive salary based on your skills, expertise, and location.
