Central to our success is the ability to rapidly grow and optimize our brands after they join our platform. Creating and executing the Perch Playbook is one of the most challenging and important parts of our success as a company. Our team is responsible for complex supply chain decision making and systematically feeding that information to executors across the entire organization integrating with our proprietary platform. We are looking for a talented, data driven contributor who can own inventory forecasting, ordering decisions, supply chain capacity modeling as well as support business case development and other ad-hoc initiatives to drive in-stock and unit economics.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, pays great attention to detail, collaborates effectively with diverse groups of people across all levels, and is excited at the prospect of facing a wide variety of unique challenges. This person will manage the delivery of complex analytical solutions that stretch across the entire Supply Chain and serve as core communication tools to partner teams across the organization.
- Engage deeply with leaders in our supply chain to develop analytics that guide decision making, investment prioritization, planning, and performance across all of Supply Chain Operations
- Own and lead your projects and initiatives with a strong focus on delivering business outcomes
- Be a subject matter expert in your domain
- Partner with supply chain team product managers, engineers, and business leaders to advance the insights derived by our data to improve in-stock and reduce costs of goods sold
- Develop tools for business team counterparts to interact with and monitor the entire supply chain
- Identify new data assets, and work with product and engineering teams to set up robust data pipelines that result in improved supply chain decision making and performance
About You
- Minimum 5+ years of experience, ideally working in a quantitative-driven field w/ operations experience analyzing data, deriving insights, and implementing action plans to see initiatives through to completion (consulting, data analytics, strategy, operations)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL. Python & R are a plus
- Experience working within large datasets to produce error free analyses & identify actionable trends / opportunities
- Experience building out standardized reporting dashboards & other ad hoc analyses
- Resourcefulness in obtaining data when clear and/or complete information is unavailable
- Expertly using SQL/Snowflake to refine our inventory forecasting and ordering model/algorithm
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Excellent relationship building skills and a strong sense of curiosity
- Engaged by a highly productive and cross-functional environment in which you can influence and produce tangible results
- Comfortable solving ambiguous problems independently without relying on pre-established playbooks
The expected base pay hiring range for this role is USD $120,000 - $155,000 per year. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and benefits. A summary of benefits we offer our U.S. - based employees can be found here.
