We are seeking an experienced Operations Director who possesses a good understanding of operational efficiency, process improvement, and finance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on contributor who can learn quickly, is solution-oriented, a strong communicator, has impeccable client service skills and is process oriented. The Director of Operations will play a critical role in supporting Buy Box Expert’s operations and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
- Create and execute on strategy for systems and processes that support our agency services teams (account managers, ad managers, creative managers, etc.). Finding ways to increase automation, reduce redundancies, and eliminate silos and otherwise allow those teams to maintain focus on serving the customer.
- Oversee operations assistant who is responsible for various day to day needs, including onboarding, offboarding of clients, contract management, coordinating with finance on AR and AP matters, maintain client records, etc.
- Partner with our software product manager to optimize our system infrastructure to help achieve company goals
- Be a leader who helps grow and mentor your team. Set clear performance expectations, provide timely feedback. Know when to delegate tasks and be someone who isn’t afraid to dig into the details and help your team with day to day work as needed
- Customer experience measurement and feedback, understand and streamline the client journey from sales, onboarding, account services and offboarding
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in finance and or accounting leadership role
- 2-5 years of experience in operations with a marketing agency, bonus if with an Amazon agency or other marketplace services agency
- Experience in creating budgets, analyzing P&Ls, and forecasting
- Experience leading teams of 2-5 people with a successful track record in achieving goals and KPIs
- Has worked in and is comfortable with high growth and fast paced environments with ongoing changes
What You Need
- This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
- Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
- - 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- - at least 4GB RAM;
- - Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
- A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
- PC Headset
- A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution
