About the Position:

The Senior Business Analysts are critical to translating the business vision of our clients into technology solutions. They work seamlessly, alternating between the big picture and granular details, preparing artifacts readily consumable by the Creative, Content, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.

Location: Remote (Central Business Hours)

What You'll Do:

You will be assigned to one or more of Object Edge's client accounts. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

1. Gain and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Object Edge clients' business domains.
2. Guide Object Edge's clients on solution roadmap to maximize their business value.
3. Identify detailed business requirements via discussions with client stakeholders, analysis of existing documentation, and industry best practices.
4. Articulate the requirements precisely and effectively in a written format that can be consumed by the User Experience, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.
5. Work closely with the User Experience, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to build solutions for Object Edge clients.
6. Be the primary driver for the business requirements on complex projects requiring multiple Business Analysts.
7. Communicate clearly and effectively across stakeholders from the client organization and Object Edge.
8. Judiciously prioritize multiple activities to ensure maximum success on the job.
9. Establish guidelines for new or junior Business Analysts to succeed in their engagements.
10. Contribute to Object Edge's thought leadership via written and spoken communications.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. 10+ years of business analysis experience on technology projects and/or solution consulting.
2. Deep understanding of the eCommerce domain and quote-to-cash business processes.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
4. Clear written articulation of ideas, specifications, and plans.
5. Proficiency in preparing requirements specifications via formats such as epics & user stories, product requirements documents, data mapping specifications, UML diagrams, etc.
6. Proficiency in using tools such as Confluence, Jira, Google Workspace tools, Lucidchart, etc.
7. Excellent number-crunching skills.
8. Ability to build and leverage long-lasting professional relationships.
9. Focus on achieving goals with urgency and persistence, anticipating and overcoming barriers to achieve expected results.
10. Ability to travel within the US up to 10% of the time.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience based on department and role.
