We’re building delightfully predictive software to inform end-to-end inventory decisions for apparel brands and retailers. We believe that an intuitive user experience coupled with intelligent Machine Learning can empower 100x better decision-making, allow people to focus on creative and strategic decisions, and reduce time spent on repetitive tasks. • We’re a distributed and cross-functional team spanning UX design, software engineering, data science, product thinkers, and business domain experts. • We are a remote-first team that embraces diversity. Our working hours span EST to CST and we heavily leverage collaborative asynchronous scrum-team approaches. We work from locations including New York, Boston, Hawaii, London, Portugal, Croatia and South Africa.
• In addition to collaborating with fellow engineers, you’ll work closely with Product Management, the VP of Engineering and COO. You will have direct customer engagement.
• We meet in-person at least once a quarter for intensive work-hard/play-hard all-company summits. Prior summits have been held in NYC, Barcelona, Warsaw, and Madrid.

We’re looking for a fantastic full-stack Senior Engineer to join our core team and play a key role in the development of our new application from the ground up. While we have a good start, this is a mostly greenfield project and a unique opportunity to join a fast-growth, ML start-up in a critical engineering function. You’ll be joining a strong team of scientists, engineers, business experts and dreamers. Join us in our quest to empower 100x better decision-making through intuitive and predictive software.

As a critical member of our application team, you will partner with product management and the other engineers to deliver an innovative user experience leveraging a new application stack that you’ll help shape. You’ll help drive the new forward-looking architecture that supports the rapid delivery of new functionality and the migration (and improvement!) of existing features.

Your Background

You are a curious, continuous learner eager to join our mission and collaborate with outstanding peers to deliver on a shared vision. Your background includes:

• 5+ years of success as a full-stack developer in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience building new features from prototype to production.
• Proven technical excellence in the application of modern application architectures.
• Demonstrated collaborative scrum-team member within a distributed environment.
• Experience starting small and incrementally extending application functionality, improved scalability and performance.
• A history of supporting operational excellence for an always-on, always-shipping SAAS product.
• Deep technical expertise with:
• Full-Stack development in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Clean, scalable API design (GraphQL/REST) using modern server-side frameworks (Express.js/NestJS).
• Optimizing data models and access patterns to extract maximum performance from modern databases like PostgreSQL.
• Cloud-based deployment and operation including RDS or Aurora, Firebase, Elastic Beanstalk, and other elements of the AWS ecosystem.
• A strong background in infrastructure automation and CI/CD — you know how to get the most out of cloud-based infrastructure and integrate it seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
• Solid familiarity and understanding of:
• HTML and CSS.
• Real-time event-driven applications using technologies like SocketIO.
• Front-end frameworks like VueJS, Angular, or React/Next.js.
• Data visualization tools like D3 and Plotly.
• Java or Python-based data management and complex asynchronous back-end systems.

We offer competitive base pay with salary of $100,000 – $190,000 commensurate with experience, generous early-stage equity package, and benefits including medical / dental / vision.
