About the Role

Cocokind is looking for a Head of Ecommerce to lead our ecommerce platform and digital marketing efforts. The ideal individual is highly analytical and KPI-oriented, has an entrepreneurial mindset, with a background in ecommerce at a high-growth startup. Leading all P&L and reporting for ecommerce, this person will be responsible for owning digital marketing, customer acquisition and lifecycle management efforts, while overseeing user experience, web optimization, and merchandising. This person takes initiative, keeps us with the ever-evolving DTC landscape, and can bring a strategic perspective to our ecommerce business. The position will be able to work remotely anywhere in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our e-commerce strategy and tactical execution, develop annual budget for e-commerce, and monitor KPIs to meet the annual financial goals
  • Develop concise weekly and monthly KPI reporting for both the ecommerce and broader management team
  • Working cohesively with our creative team, own all paid digital marketing initiatives for both acquisition and retention; measure success on existing channels and continuously iterate to drive more efficient spend, and lead testing of new channels or strategies
  • Manage relationship with any paid advertising consultants or agencies, setting key KPIs and analyzing the results to inform pivots
  • Lead our comprehensive customer retention strategy including email, loyalty, subscription efforts to drive engagement, and increased LTV and repeat purchases
  • Manage SEO initiatives, optimizing copy and landing pages to drive search engine traffic
  • Analyze and leverage customer data and insights to drive ecommerce strategy with a focus on personalization of customer experience
  • Manage digital product team leading all website enhancement initiatives and new web developments, helping to inform testing roadmap based on strategic web objectives
  • Oversee management of all merchandising of product pages, new product launches, promotions, and special digital events on leveraging data and insights to implement changes
  • Lead and manage our Amazon business, working with our third party agency to manage our digital marketing efforts and integrated events on this channel

The ideal candidate has:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce
  • Experience working with Shopify Plus, Facebook/Google/Tiktok ads, and email marketing platforms like Klaviyo
  • Extensive experience working with website analytics (Google Analytics) and in-house data warehouses
  • Experience leveraging data to inform strategic web roadmap and other web-related decisions
  • Proven track record of creating and scaling paid marketing program
  • Quantitatively skilled and analytically minded with the ability to make data driven decisions
  • Ability to think strategically while having a determination to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Highly organized and framework-driven yet flexible to support our fast-paced start-up environment
  • Ability to problem solve independently while working seamlessly with our team
  • Low ego mentality with a desire to continuously seek out learnings
  • Results-driven, consistently driving towards goals with high quality standards
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for growing businesses and consumer products, with a customer-first approach
  • Bachelor's degree required
