About The Director Of Growth Marketing

Fairing is excited to welcome a Director of Growth Marketing who’s as well-versed in the dials & levers of the marketing machine as they are in the art of experimentation. We have a sleeping giant of a dataset, a wedge with near-zero time to value, a promising brand identity, and plenty of happy customers on top of healthy churn. All of this is at your disposal to develop a repeatable & scalable growth playbook.As a crucial member of our revenue core, acquisition is your area of total ownership:

  • MQLs & lead nurturing
  • Engagement on our web & social properties
  • Marketing ops, reporting, & insights
  • Media exposure & brand awareness

You’ll share ownership of customer activation and success, working closely with our revenue team to ensure we make a holistic impact with every big idea across the lifecycle.Your support system in this role includes a CEO with domain expertise and a strong network, along with heads of Customer Success, BD & Partnerships, and Content Marketing. With that core, we feel you’ll be well-equipped to capitalize on a market where our biggest competitor is a lack of education: for the brands who know, Fairing is their growth hack.Who We’re Looking ForIn addition to the list below, it’s safe to say we expect a successful SaaS growth marketer to have proof in public, as both the leader and more importantly a doer.

  • Demonstrable success owning acquisition strategy, tactics, and measurement
  • Thorough experience in SaaS and PLG; experience in ecommerce or retail a strong plus
  • Expertise in demand generation, channel optimization, and lead conversion
  • Working knowledge of SQL or advanced Excel and an inclination to discover your own data insights
  • Responsible investing in the people, tools, and media that make up the growth engine
  • A personal brand & network that justifies being our 2nd most prominent public figure
  • An unflappable sense of adaptability & experimentation
  • A naturally autonomous operator, who prefers small teams and fast feedback loops

Location: New York City. We operate on a hybrid work model, 1-day a week in our midtown office is required.
