Main duties:

  • Build out an international Sales Operations team supporting a growing sales organisation of 250+ sales reps across the world, expecting a ratio of 20:1 sales : ops
  • Establish an understanding of external world class best practises for Revenue growth, with a particular focus on HR SAAS / HR Tech
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to Sales and broader Revenue leaders, personally supporting the North America Sales Leader’s strategy and operational execution across their organisation, and coaching Sales Ops managers on supporting other Sales Leaders
  • Drive Sales GTM strategies based on gathered business insights and data analysis driven from central Data / Operations teams
  • Support the Sales Leadership teams with key business decisions, and execute the rollouts of global projects
  • Establish an Annual, Quarterly and Monthly Planning and Review Framework across the Sales teams, and support the Leadership / HR / Talent Acquisition teams to build the organisation up at scale
  • Act as the coordination and centralisation point for wider Process, System, Deal Generation, Enablement and other Operations activities that impact the Global Sales organisation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems, gather data, enable and train; all with the overall purpose of building up profitable and efficient growth across the global sales teams
  • Manage a global team to lead sales forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organisation. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organisation’s planning efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance and Revenue Operations groups, on implementing large scale projects to help Deel grow

Requirements

  • Strong experience supporting Revenue teams of over 150 Sales reps
  • 10+ years working in a Revenue / Sales Operations function with high-growth startup or tech company
  • 5+ years leading teams of min 5 revenue operations teams
  • Excellent judgment, mature personality, and experience dealing with executives
  • Highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on problem solver, with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience working with sales leadership, and ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships and influence in a fully remote organisation
  • Independent problem-solver and self-starter able to manage complex projects end-to-end from design to execution to delivering outsized impact
  • Excellent data modeling, presentation skills and demonstrated experience providing data-driven business insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) required, and Visualisation Tools (Looker) is a nice to have

Reporting to: Head of Revenue Strategy, Operations and Enablement


Team Structure: Expect to build three teams of total minimum 12 sales operations experts including EMEA, APAC and Americas ops management, which would continue to scale as Sales teams grow. Main roles in the teams would include Team Managers, Deal Desk, wider Operations Support analysts, Strategy & Planning roles, and dotted line team members from global functions. The Global Revenue Strategy, Operations & Enablement team is structured as teams focusing on Process & Systems, Enablement, Pipeline Generation Operations, Sales Strategy & Ops and Customer Success Strategy & Ops.
