Corp eCommerce Project Manager

Position SummaryLead multiple large, cross-functional projects within eCommerce and with selected third-party vendors, focusing on applying a disciplined, data-driven approach. Assemble and lead project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed and develop timelines and schedules. Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and implement assigned projects, including developing scope and approach for each project, managing project timelines, preparation of schedules, and agreements
  • Provide feedback on vendor proposals/bids, and coordinate contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal resources
  • Lead continuous business process improvement (Six Sigma) and provide constant analysis of best business practices and to establish a culture of quality
  • Manage multiple projects while adhering to timelines and budgets
  • Establish and update project and program plans; manage deviations from plan and project parameters
  • Conduct project meetings, project tracking, and analysis
  • Provide overall leadership to project resources
  • Ensure all project objectives are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet expectations
  • Manage the integration of tasks and track and review vendor deliverables
  • Communicate timely project status to all stakeholders
  • Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as needed
  • Create highly collaborative cross-functional partnerships across the organization
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on projects being led by other departments
  • Build strong relationships across all functions within Kroger as well as with vendors
  • Present process changes, gain alignment from all functional leaders, and work collaboratively to implement

  • Minimum Position Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and multi-departmental projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization
  • Proven problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead change within an organization
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and understanding of Merchandising systems
  • Proven project management experience
  • Desired Previous Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six Sigma or Green Belt Certification or similar
  • Education Level: Bachelor's Desired
    Required Travel: Up to 25%
