Position SummaryLead multiple large, cross-functional projects within eCommerce and with selected third-party vendors, focusing on applying a disciplined, data-driven approach. Assemble and lead project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed and develop timelines and schedules. Essential Job FunctionsDevelop and implement assigned projects, including developing scope and approach for each project, managing project timelines, preparation of schedules, and agreementsProvide feedback on vendor proposals/bids, and coordinate contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal resourcesLead continuous business process improvement (Six Sigma) and provide constant analysis of best business practices and to establish a culture of qualityManage multiple projects while adhering to timelines and budgetsEstablish and update project and program plans; manage deviations from plan and project parametersConduct project meetings, project tracking, and analysisProvide overall leadership to project resourcesEnsure all project objectives are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet expectationsManage the integration of tasks and track and review vendor deliverablesCommunicate timely project status to all stakeholdersManage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as neededCreate highly collaborative cross-functional partnerships across the organizationServe as a subject matter expert on projects being led by other departmentsBuild strong relationships across all functions within Kroger as well as with vendorsPresent process changes, gain alignment from all functional leaders, and work collaboratively to implementMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and multi-departmental projectsExcellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organizationProven problem solving and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to lead change within an organizationStrong leadership skillsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projectsExperience in managing budgetsProficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge and understanding of Merchandising systemsProven project management experience
